Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 September 2026
These terms apply to TrulyCared Connect (the "Service"), provided by We Love Memories Limited, trading as Truly Cared Connect, a company registered in Jersey (company number 134319), registered office La Chasse, Rue des Vallees, St. Martin, JE3 6BB ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@trulycared.com.
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
TrulyCared Connect is subscription software, delivered online, that helps families, independent carers and household helpers coordinate care for a person: recording visits (check-in and check-out times, a checklist and notes), sharing those records with the family, letting family members add notes, and letting carers create invoices from their logged hours.
The Service is a coordination and record-keeping tool. It is not a medical service, does not provide medical, care or legal advice, and is not an emergency or monitoring service. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.
2. Accounts and roles
- You must be 18 or over to create an account.
- The person who creates a Family account is the primary account holder. They decide who is invited, and which carers and helpers can see each cared-for person's record, and can block access at any time.
- Each person uses their own login and keeps their password secure. You are responsible for activity under your login.
- You must only add information about another person (for example the person being cared for) where you are entitled to do so, and must keep it accurate.
3. Plans, trial and payment
- Plans, prices and what each includes are shown on our Pricing page.
- Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and the first payment is taken at the end of the trial.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until cancelled.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, invoicing and sales tax, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it applies.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Your content
- You keep ownership of the information you and the people you invite put into the Service ("your content").
- You give us permission to store, process and display your content only to provide the Service to you and the people you have allowed to see it.
- Invoices created in the Service are issued by the carer to their client. We are not a party to the care arrangement and are not responsible for the accuracy of hours, rates or invoices, or for payment between carers and families.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including by: accessing records you have not been given access to; uploading unlawful content; attempting to break or overload the Service; or using it to harass or monitor anyone unlawfully.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and secure, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features; we will not remove core features you pay for during a paid period without telling you.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
9. Ending the account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, after giving notice where reasonable. On closure, we will delete or return your content as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Jersey. If you are a consumer living in the UK or the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
